The level of safety required of unmanned aircraft varies depending on the type of flight, and the following categories exist for Type Certification and Aircraft Certification.
Class I Certification for an aircraft intended to conduct specified flights (“Category III flights”) without taking entry control measures.
Class II Certification for aircraft intended to conduct specified flights (“Category II flights”) after taking entry control measures.
